08/06 Update released for all HL2 based games (2)VALVE has released a critical update for the original Half-Life based games. This includes Counter-Strike 1.6 and Condition Zero. Most important are the changes made to the "Query Protocol". This was needed to prepare all Half-Life based games for the arrival of VAC2, which will replace the current anti-cheat detection in the near future. |

20/05 Status new network infrastructure ProServe (0)A while ago we mentioned that our network provider ProServe was installing and configuring new equipment for their network. This week we have received more information regarding the progress of their work. This Monday the connection of Clanhost to ProServe will be transferred to one of the new Juniper M10i routers. |

12/05 Clanhost closes sponsorship deal with CEA (2)Our sponsorship with the dutch clan diGitalMind has ended when the clan died en most of the members switched to more stable clans. Since that time we have received a lot of new requests for sponsorship. Most of these requests have gone unanswered because we could not fine a suitable partner, until today. |

06/05 Launch new website and placement of new servers (12)Clanhost launches its new website today. We hope to significantly improve our service to our English speaking (potential) customers. We’ve also published information of our services in English and how we differentiate ourselves in the growing competitive market of game server hosting. Next to the launch of our new site we have placed three new servers in our rack located in Amsterdam. |

29/03 Regarding abuse of the Clanhost name (2)The last few weeks we've noticed an increase in abuse of our registered trade name. The name Clanhost is being used in the hostname of Counter-Strike game servers that are not hosted by us. Of course we strongly disapprove of such abuse however it's difficult to track down those responsible. With this news article we want to inform our (potential) customers about this problem and show which game servers we do and do not host. |
