Announcement maintenance Saturday April 8th

In the night from Saturday April 8 th to Sunday April 9 th we will be conducting scheduled maintenance on our network infrastructure. Recently we purchased a second rack, effectively doubling our rack space capacity. The expansion requires reconfiguration of our current network infrastructure, we expect brief interruptions of our services between 01:00 and 07:00.
Within the next two or three months we will be expanding our product range to include services such as: server co-location, dedicated servers, web hosting and domain registrations. We will be offering these services under our second registered business name "ADD Websolutions". Next to the services mentioned above we will be offering reseller programs for recently started businesses.
Currently our infrastructure consists of one 19" rack and two HP ProCurve 2626 network switches, this will be doubled on Saturday night. In order to accommodate this expansion we will have to reconfigure all of our switches, which will result in several brief interruptions of our services. Our new rack will be used for housing our own servers - which are currently used for game server hosting - and hosted dedicated servers. This means that we will be moving all of our equipment to the new rack. To minimize the downtime to our services we have decided to conduct the maintenance during the night.

- 23.30: Arrival the datacenter
- 23.35: Check-in procedure Redbus Interhouse
- 23.45: Enter ProServe suite, unpack new equipment
- 00.00: Verify if new rack is properly aligned
- 00.30: Mount network and power switches
- 01.00: Initiate network connection between rack 1 and 2
- 01:15: Start configuration of network switches
- 02.00: Start relocation of servers
- 04:00: Software maintenance of all servers
- 07:00: Work completed
