Regarding abuse of the Clanhost name

The last few weeks we've noticed an increase in abuse of our registered trade name. The name Clanhost is being used in the hostname of Counter-Strike game servers that are not hosted by us. Of course we strongly disapprove of such abuse however it's difficult to track down those responsible. With this news article we want to inform our (potential) customers about this problem and show which game servers we do and do not host.
Clanhost has its own /24 IP range (255 IP addresses). All Clanhost game servers start with 80.84.250.xxx. We also have a few servers at our old network location, these game servers start with 217.115.204.xxx. All game servers that start with a different IP address but carry the name Clanhost.nl are not hosted by us!

waarom doen mensen dit, dit slaat toch echt nergens op. maar de meeste mensen weten niet dat het gebruik van een geregistreerd handelsmerk strafbaar is.
